TEMPTATIONS

 I sat across the bed while he stared I could feel his burning eyes from across the room.. the lights were dim the music low.

Could he be thinking what I was thinking..we have been here a million times.We have experienced this way too many times. Could this be the end of it all?

He came closer from the back. His breath on my neck.The room suddenly felt warmer. His hands felt strong against mine,he whispered something in my ear but my thoughts were just too loud.

I stood up close to the door. Now staring in his eyes.. Could this be the end of it all?

I know it's wrong I feel her pain when she talks about how much he means to her.. and how she doesn't want to lose him but here I am already losing my mind. 

He makes me lose my mind. He walks up to the door. His eyes dazzling with lust.. with passion.. he reachs for my hand..

I gasp.. my heart beating so fast I swear it was gonna pop out my chest. A shiver ran through my body. His body so close to mine now. 

His face too close to mine now. His lips on my lips now. A shiver left my legs weak. I closed my eyes to feel the warmth on his lips..

Smoother. slower.. turned into rough French kisses. At this moment I felt defeated. My legs are weak. My body on fire. 

He switched me and turns my back hugging me tightly. His hand on my neck.The other holding my hands in a cuffing manner. Could this be the end of it all?

I am weak but I cant shake him off. An electric wave runs through my body as he releases my hands and turn me over to face him.. his lips on mine again. 

I cant anymore.. I move him towards the couch next to the window. I threw him on the couch. His eyes staring deep into mine..

As if his searching for something. I stare at him as I bite my lips. I got on my knees right in front of him. Could this be the end of it all?

THE GARDENER

I had arrived late for work. I knew my boss would shit on me. I was having a bad morning, those were my mornings every single day  I was divorced and a single mom. I don't know what was worse been a single mom or been divorced  I gave Anthony everything but he still left me for a younger woman. He nolonger touched me , he made me feel unattractive and for 10 years that's how I felt.  I used my work to distract me from my reality but one evening he didn't come back home. I slept alone in a bed that felt warmer than usual. I realized it had been cold all this time because of Anthony  The parking was full. I didn't see my boss's car , I felt a sight of relief.  There I was sitting on my bed in the middle of the night. Thinking about what you were up to. Smilling from ear to ear alone , reminding myself of the afternoon we both had. You had told me you loved me and wanted to be with me. It was us holding hands , looking each other in the eyes at the back of the school where no one noticed, and you had told me not to tell anyone because public relationships end quickly. I believed him , I mean what did I know about relationships? And here I was reminiscing about that afternoon,  we kissed and he kissed my neck too.
